Insomnia - My Personal Experience

Insomnia is without a doubt a major cause of frustration in
anyone's life who suffers with it. For over two years I spent night
after night laying in bed desperately wanting to fall asleep, but
couldn't. Yes, there were nights I would be able to go to sleep and
get some rest, but not that often.
At first, I tried everything I could think of or what family and
friends suggested as well. I would try reading a book before
bedtime, listen to soft music, darken the room, use earplugs to
have complete silence, and the list goes on. Nothing would help me
fall asleep and it started to become mentally and emotionally
draining. The feeling of being tired, but not being able to go to
sleep is hard to describe to someone who hasn't been through it.
Frustrating is a mild term to say the least.
Soon enough, the lack of a good nights sleep began to take its
toll. My energy level was at an all-time low, my work suffered
because of it and it became a struggle to face each new day at
times.
At this point, I went to see a doctor. She said I had a sleep
disorder called insomnia, which I already knew, and she gave me a
prescription for some sleeping pills.
The sleeping pills worked, but they made me feel even worse the
next day. I would get up feeling like I had a massive hangover. I
could hardly comprehend anything and had trouble remembering
anything as well. I knew rights then that sleeping pills were not
for me. Not to mention the side effect of possible addiction.
Now I'm at the point of complete frustration and desperation.
I'm also fearful that this is how my life is going to be forever.
No way could I live like this. Something had to happen to help
me.
Then one day it was like the answer just fell into my lap. I
found some information on a book called "Insomnia Relief".
It's a book that shows you how to get rid of insomnia by using
completely natural methods. The "natural methods" part really got
my attention because I knew medication wasn't the solution.
I got the book and the techniques presented were fascinating to
me. I began putting them into action every day. Suddenly, my nights
without sleep were over. I was falling asleep and staying asleep
without any problems.
To say my life was forever changed is an understatement. I can't
express enough how good it feels to be able to sleep and wake up
refreshed with lost of energy.
I tell you this in hopes that you will read my story and realize
that there is hope. Insomnia is not something that you just have to
live with and let ruin your life as it once did mine.
